Problem importing folder of .txt files into Mac version of drafts

Have you tried dropping them on the app icon as suggested for Markdown files in the following thread?

Bulk Import of Markdown files

Is anyone aware of an action that would import an entire folder structure of markdown / TaskPaper files into Drafts? Many thanks fo any pointers (or alternate solutions). Peter
