Hello! I am looking for a way to append the content of a draft to a specific Google Doc, but I can’t seem to find any information on how to do so. I came across this post Drafts 5 to Google Docs. Is it still the case that this is impossible? Thank you and best regards, Per.
There have been no changes here. You can append to text files in Google Drive, but Docs are a complicated rich-text format and not easily modified.
The action that allows you create them relies on the fact that Google’s own APIs offer a function to upload HTML content and have it converted to a Doc at their end - they offer no similar option for appending to the content of an existing Doc.
