Hi! After updating to the newest version of the Drafts app, I noticed that the Drafts widget was black and tapping it did nothing. I restarted the phone and not only was it black, but the text underneath said “Searching…” instead of “Drafts.” I deleted the widget and went to re-add it, but it was missing from the list of widgets. I deleted and reinstalled the app as per a past post on this forum, but the problem persists. Any help is appreciated! Let me know if I can provide any further information. Thanks!
Device: iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17.1.1
App version: 48.2.1 (668)
Troubleshooting steps attempted: force closed app, restarted phone, deleted and tried to re-add widget, deleted and reinstalled app
Update your OS version. Starting the the Drafts 48.0 release, widgets and Shortcuts integrations require iOS 17.6 (and macOS 14.6) or greater. See release notes:
Drat. That’s what I get for not reading the release notes before updating! And for staying on such an old iOS version. (I have reasons for staying, but this will be a big factor in the “update” column. Sigh.) Thanks for answering and for such an awesome app.
