Web Links in Mail action

How do you include a web link in the mail action? When I run the action it just copies the text into my email, but not as a hyperlink, just as plain text.

So it looks like if you use the mail assistant app on a Mac, you can use markdown and create a rich text email, but then you can’t use the To: function from the regular mail action for a automated group email?
