Using Drafts with MCP and Claude - some errors

I am excited about the drafts extension in claude. Amazing! I am using 1.0.7 and 48.1 and 1.1.8629. I am seeing the following errors with malformed Apple Script.

The specific error signatures to share:

  • drafts_list_workspaces → The variable workspaces is not defined (-2753)

  • drafts_list_tags → tags doesn’t understand the “count” message (-1708)

  • drafts_get_current → syntax error: Expected end of line but found class name (-2741)

Are you saying you are on Drafts 48.1? That is an old version and not compatible with the MCP. Drafts is up to v51. Install updates and try again.
