URL for startpage

I’ve started using Startpage as my search engine recently. I’m wondering how I can set up an action to search startpage.

I’m not well versed at creating actions as I tend to find what I need already created.

I looked at a lot of search actions and looked at their URL formats but they are all very different so I can’t decipher what to use for startpage.

If anyone can help, that would be much appreciated.

Well, I …

  1. Googled what “StartPage” was :wink:
  2. Looked at StartPage’s support documentation for a minute or two. This is available as a link from their home page. It gave me the format of the search URL.
  3. I used some knowledge of Drafts to work out what to do. Specifically;
    • Actions, and even more specifically, the URL action step.
    • Drafts Template Tags.

After that, I just created and shared the Draft action, and posted the reply above :slight_smile:

I just followed your instructions and found the URL string. I don’t think I would’ve figured that out.
