Tags not showing up in Quick Capture for Mac

I don’t know if this is a feature or a bug but previously created tags are not showing up on the tag section of the quick capture for desktop. In the main app tag labels will show up once you start typing, but this doesn’t happen in quick capture.

Is this the way it quick capture was designed work, or am I missing something?

You mean the suggestion drop-down? It should work the same in quick capture as in the main app. Not what you are seeing?

I found the inconsistency. My tags had emojis in the tag name. For some reason the emojis work fine in the main app but not in the quick capture.
