Tab & Indent Keys Change Font in Draft

By default I use the System font and GitHub Markdown. When I use either or indent the font changes to a mono font. This is reversed by <shift+tab> or outdent. How do stop this happening, please?

Note: You’re probably making Markdown think this is either a quotation or, more likely, code. That would be standard behaviour.

What is your intent with indenting?

Thanks Martin.

I use the indent to start a new paragraph. I also use inline html “ ” which works but I am trying to improve the readability.

I tried in another markdown editor and it looks fine until previewed when it is a code block.

Right. So Drafts is taking a route that makes the text look somewhat like what it would when rendered.
