Sublists in Drafts

I understand that Drafts is text only, but it does handle Markdown. Thus, if I type a hyphen, it goes into list mode, which is great. However, it does not appear to generate sublists. Thus, if I type

- list item
   - sublist item
- list item
...

I do not get the sublist. Why is this? Thanks.

You mean when the list is previewed? If so:

  • Which markdown parser?
  • What spacing are you using (tabs, number of spaces)? For example, MultiMarkdown is pretty strict about what it accepts as an indentation. If your sample above is accurate, it looks like you only have 3 spaces - MMD want 4 or a tab.
