Spelling autocorrect no longer seems to work in Drafts 42.2.1 in MacOS 14.2.1 (23C71). I’m also not seeing the Edit->Spelling and Grammar->Correct Spelling Automatically option anymore from the menu bar. Was this intentional?
Spellcheck options are set per syntax, along with other Editor Settings. Do you have those options enabled in editor settings for the syntax you are using?
