Share extension and appending to selected draft

When using the share extension in iOS Safari, after creating a new draft and saving it, I don’t see the most recent draft as one of the drop-down recent drafts if I use the share extension again to append or prepend to that most recent draft. Instead I have to choose the Select Draft button to select it.

Is that a limitation of the Drafts app?

The quick-access suggestions are based on the most recent drafts which you have appended to using the share extension. Does that make sense? Only if you have completed a share appending to a draft will it be added to that list.
