Save as google docs in specific folder

Hi there
I am new drafts user and I am looking for exporting my drafts to google docs BUT inside a specific folder (so not in the root directory) as the default action suggests.

Can anybody help me regarding to that ?
Thank you very much !

The Google Drive action step used to save Google Docs has a “Parent” property to add the name of a folder at the root level of your Google Drive.

Edit (or duplicate, then edit) the action and in the Google Drive step add the folder name you want to target.

Thank you very much I just found this option
(Despite I have been looking for it before posting … I wasn’t able to find that option)

Is it possible to go deeper than one folder or not ?

If yes, what syntax should I use ?

Thank you

Hi Greg,

Is it possible to create a file in a subfolder in Google Drive?
Ex: Folder/Subfolder 1

I tried a few different syntaxes but had no luck.

Thanks!

Per the documentation linked above:

  • Parent : Leave blank for root level of Google Drive, or include the name of a folder in the root level of Google Drive. The folder will be created when the action is run if it does not already exist.

Only root level parents are supported.
