I use Drafts daily to maintain a running file called Working Memory—a single text file for capturing notes, tasks, and more. I typically keep it open all day on the right side of my screen.
Is there a way to configure Drafts to always open Working Memory in a specific window layout? Even better, is there a URL scheme or deep link I can use to create a QuickLink in Raycast to launch it directly in that layout?
What do you mean with the window layout? Size and positioning of the window? Specific setups for draft / action list and pinning mode?
I developed the Raycast extension for Drafts, it has a helper command to create quicklings to e.g. open drafts. That will be helpful for you but it is „just“ opening it and not changing the window layout. You’ll need the UUID of the Draft to configure it, but you can copy it easily from the specific draft.
Depending on what your wishes for the window layout is, you can build a small action that opens the draft, configures the window (there is an action step that actually is named „configure window“). You could then run this action with the url scheme of Drafts (happy to help if you can’t get it to work with the Raycast extension).
