I run a shortcut every morning that, among other things, creates a Draft for the day. I then store the UUID for that draft in DataJar. I don’t know if it is a quirk of Drafts or DataJar, but since iOS 18 I was getting a “Cannot convert” error when trying to set the UUID value in DataJar. This was happening regardless of whether I told the Set Value action for DataJar to treat the data as “Automatic” or “Text.”
I got around the problem by first placing the UUID in a text field and then setting the value in Data Jar from that text field. It’s all working now but I am wondering if anyone else has noticed some anomalies with Shortcuts since upgrading to iOS 18.
