Questions about archiving and tagging on Mac

Hi, is there any way to make it so that drafts that are tagged that are tagged on the mac will automatically be archived? So that when I finish adding tags to a draft, then it will be removed from inbox and put into archive.

Also, does anything happen to drafts that go into the archive? Like, do they get deleted eventually or anything or are they always available in archives? I’m interested in clearing out my inbox of drafts that I’ve already tagged but want to make sure that all of the items that I’ve tagged or archived will still be available later.

Once actions are available (currently a work in progress), you could use an action to apply tags and have that set the draft to be archived.

Archived just means saved for later outside the inbox - see the Managing Drafts documentation. Only drafts in Trash will be removed at some point.
