On longer notes, I have notice and extra “phantom” cursor that flashes as you type few lines up that tracks the actual cursor column. This is most disconcerting, but does not effect anything else.
It will probably go away if you force quit Drafts, will definitely go away if you reboot your device. This is an iOS bug that seems to occur sometimes since the iOS 17 update, although I’ve had fewer reports of it since the more recent 17.x releases – so definitely update if your OS also, if you have not recently.
I can confirm that the phantom cursor is still present in a particular long note even after rebooting Iphone … I am on latest IOS and latest Drafts (just updated today)
I can confirm it too. Haven’t seen a phantom cursor for quite a while but it is back.
