Options for markdown shortcuts different on Mac and iOS; how to make more appear?

I was trying to create a Markdown table in Drafts on iOS, and there was an easy shortcut for that on my phone. Then, I decided I’d wait until I got back to my desktop instead, but then in the menu at the bottom, the same options are there.

I’m sure this is a setting I tripped somewhere, but I don’t know which one it could be. So, how do I get those Markdown shortcuts on the macOS app like they are on the iOS app?

You have the Action Bar hidden on your Mac. This is an option you can toggle in the “View” menu.

The action bar is just one way to get to actions, however. You can also run those same actions on Mac from the action list to the right of the editor, from the “Actions” menu, from the command palette, or via keyboard shortcuts if those actions have them assigned.
