OneNote Import - Bullet Point Issue with Indent

Hi there, I wonder, if others experience that too, and maybe there is a solution to that tiny yet annoying issue.
When I use any method to add/append or import to Onenote, it works pretty smoothly, except for the following use case:
If I have a bullet list that uses indents like this:

List

  • Level 1
    • Level 2
    • Level 2
      • Level 3
    • Level 2
  • Level 1

…and then I use the OneNote action (no matter if I use append, create or others, it also works, but with a tiny yet annoying flaw. The list looks like this in Outlook:

• Level 1

	• Level 2
	• Level 2

		• Level 3
	• Level 2
• Level 1

Somme whenever I indent in Drafts, it adds an empty line in OneNote, this does not happen at outdent.

Any idea or similar experience?

Thanks you all and Happy Holidays!

I did a little playing with this, and it appears this is unavoidable.

Ultimately, under-the-hood, OneNote stores notes in HTML, so Drafts is converting your list to an HTML unordered list with the Markdown processor, and sending that to OneNote. It seems whatever Microsoft is doing in the background with that HTML, it always adds that white-space line when processing a nested HTML list. I tried sending a raw HTML nested list to the OneNote API with no white-space in it (<ul><li>1<ul><li>2</li></ul></ul>) and it still added those extra lines.
