Option to switch to numeric keyboard.

There’s a number and punctuation keyboard which might go some way to help.

The numeric keypad that renders in rows, that’s what is shown as in 3 rows of numbers

That is the standard iOS phone pad. It is displayed in many apps where you are entering data into a phone number field. It isn’t a Drafts thing and is what the OP is feature requesting for Drafts.
