I’m really appreciating the way that Drafts is evolving!
Maybe underneath the “No drafts found” message that comes up when you search for something that doesn’t exist in the current workspace, it’d be useful to have a “create draft with search text” link for a new draft titled with the text that’s currently entered in the search field, and tags of the current workspace?
Or the same (add new draft with current text in search/filter field as title) as an option in the “+” new draft menu. That would require dismissing the keyboard first, but would still be useful.
@jsamlarose@trmd Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for (and I’m just now realizing this is a very old thread), but I threw together a quick action to do essentially what you’re asking for. Here you go.
Nice! My first stop for searching my Drafts tends to be my own Block Level FIlter Action these days, and I don’t find myself in so much need of creating new drafts from a search query a la Notational Velocity, but this is still good to have in the toolkit. Thanks for following up and pitching in.
