Need Shortcut to Cut and Paste Single Line. Neewbe Question

I have a long list of items (single lines) in a draft document.

I am looking for shortcuts that will “cut” the single line and the “paste” when I select another location.

As you might guess I know next to nothing about shortcuts.

In this case ignorance is not bliss.

Not sure what your overall goals are, but if you are working on re-ordering lines, I’d look at a couple of things to start:

• Arrange mode: Drag and drop (or button-based) tool from re-ordering content in a draft.
• This tip on working with lines and blocks: Contains links to several useful actions for moving lines.

These don’t specifically “cut and paste” as you described, but accomplish similar goals.
