I don’t see a preview button on iOS for the editor documentation, and the preview documentation specifically only lists iPadOS and macOS; presumably because iOS can’t show a live preview, only a snapshot preview.
I don’t recall seeing it on iOS, but I barely remember what day of the week it is since the pandemic lockdowns began! Can you provide a link to the iOS documentation that you reference?

Oh, good grief, the documentation DOES say iPad OS only.
I have looked at that page multiple times, and somehow missed seeing that.
So it appears in this case the bug is between the user’s ears.
