Does anyone have an error in which the Drafts MCP works with Claude chat but not Claude Cowork? I have the MCP installed from Customize –> Connectors → Browse Connectors. The MCP works okay from the Claude chat prompt but not from the Claude Cowork prompt. Is there any reason why this would happen?
In my experience, you need to be explicitly rude to Cowork to get it to recognize installed MCPs sometimes.
If you just ask it a Drafts-related question, it will say “I can’t work with Drafts” - then you say, “Yes, you can, you have a Drafts MCP installed” – then it actually goes and checks and says, “So sorry, I’m wrong again, I can work with Drafts” and then it just starts working.
Try that.
