I am opening a draft using the Open URL command from Keyboard Maestro. It opens the draft as it should, but I get a “Marker not Found” error in Drafts. What marker is it looking for?
A couple of notes and details:
- This is not a valid URL. The title parameter should not be in quotes, but should be properly URL encoded. You can use a tools like an online URL encoder to get the correct encoding for the title parameter. In your case, that should look like:
drafts://open?title=IDT%20Wednesday%2009%2F16 - Per the [
/openURL docs](https://docs.getdrafts.com/docs/automation/urlschemes#open),/is a special character to navigate directly to a heading when opening a draft via URL. That's the "marker" it's looking for, because your title has a/in it. You can escape that with a` that basically says “ignore the next forward slash” - so you’d enter the titleIDT Wednesday 09/16adIDT Wednesday 09\/16(and then encode that value, per the above. - If you are targetting a specific draft, it would be better to link directly to the draft by its canonical link, which to you can copy to the clipboard from the contextual menu on a draft in the draft list.

Most excellent. Thank you for the clarification. My bad for not checking the documentation first.
I am making these Open URL calls from Keyboard Maestro and, thankfully, it has a filter that will properly encode the URL.
Fixed.
