Is this D5 script possible at all?

Hi all,

Would it be possible to have a script that would:

  1. show you a list of txt files in a specific dropbox folder
  2. import a selected file into a new draft
  3. apply specific tags to the new draft
  4. rename the (eg blogpost1.txt —> imported_blogpost1.txt)

I could probably import the file using D5’s “+” button and then run an action to apply tags and rename the file manually. However I’d like to have it all in one action

Yes. It is possible. I don’t have an example to point you to, but it’s very possible. Anything that can be done with the Dropbox 2.0 API can be scripting in Drafts now.

Not saying it’s trivial. It’s a complicated API, but it is possible.
