IOS Shortcuts - updating an existing Draft

Hi,

I’m trying to create an IOS shortcut that will open an existing file and append to it using “Update Drafts”. No matter what I try I can’t get “Update” to automatically use the file - it either errors or puts up a file selection dialog.

I’ve looked at examples here and elsewhere and nothing seems to work … tried to search Drafts on file name … open Draft by UUID … etc.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

Are you running iOS 16? This is a Shortcuts bug in iOS 16. Seems to be fixed in the iOS 16.1 betas, so should be resolved when that update ships.

Yes - I’m on 16. I’ll try again when I get the update (not running betas).
