I see that this was raised in 2023 as a feature request I just wondered if there was any update on the possibility of this happening? As it is a real barrier to use for some of us
I don’t have any updates. I haven’t had any other requests and have not prioritized any changes to the Action Bar – good to hear if there is other interest.
There are lots of ways to run actions, and the Action Bar is just one of them - which, to my mind works best on the iPhone, and seems pretty well optimized on that platform.
Is this request regarding iPhone usage? iPad? Mac? How do you use it and how would increased size enhance that experience versus other ways to access actions (action list, command palette, keyboard shortcuts, menus, etc.)
Thank you, for such a fast resoonse, i’ll try t answer the best I can and I’ll explore the command pallete as i’m not sure what that bit is and if it would speed things up. Shortcuts aren’t great for me (I’m a disabled person and use a pointer so prefer one key operations…
I use mac and iphone and find drafts great when preping for when devices are not accessible to me later (access needs change in different environments/phases of my use).
The action bar is great when im using my trackpadetc as its there and one click (and i can move the buttons to an order, there just small so a) tricky to see and b)need to be accurate on the button.
There are some work arounds but the easiest would ust be to have them a little bigger. I searched the community before startin the thread so saw a 2023 conversation, which is why i though great…it’s not just me ( feeling i oftern get with my access needs/high expectation of effective workflows.
