How to select and delete several drafts in iOS

There must be a way to select several drafts and delete them, but it is not at all obvious.

I can select them, but how do I delete them? I know I can delete them one by one of course.

  1. Tap the “Select” option at the bottom of the draft list to reveal selection markers on each draft.
  2. Tap each selection marker for a draft you want to trash.
  3. Tap the “Operations” option at the bottom of the draft list to display a list of batch processing options.
  4. Select “Trash”.
