I’ve tried the quick search(cmd + shift + f on Mac) against the ‘- [ ]’ string literal, but no results found, any suggestions?
And I find it find(cmd + f) ‘-[ ]’ works fine in current draft, but somehow failed at the quick search(cmd + shift + f).

Drafts supports most common, Google-like query constructs. If you want to find a specific string in sequence, wrap it in double-quotes, like "- [ ]"
to get exact phrase searching. Normally the -
is a special character to omit something.
