I’d like to send a group text/message to a mixed bag of iOS/Android users. It appears that iPhone users receive the message, but the Android folks don’t. In testing, it looks like a group message from Drafts to the non-iOS users go through. Is it possible to use Drafts and, with one action, message a mixed group of 20+ recipients?
As long as you enter all the recipients in the Message action step in a format that Message can understand - typically a valid phone number (although could also be emails for iMessage accounts), then it should work fine for both iOS and Android.
Subject to all the same limitations as sending those same message directly from the Message app itself…which has some oddities handling groups with mixed iMessage, non-iMessage accounts.
