Formatting math symbols?

#1

Was wondering if there is a way for Drafts preview math symbols, greek letters, and equations with multimarkdown syntax.

For example: A formula, \({e}^{i\pi }+1=0\), inside a paragraph.

#2

What happens if you use the HTML symbols? For example if I type the characters

ampersand pee eye semicolon

I might expect to get

π

I know this isn’t Drafts being aware of maths - but it might get you where you need to go.

#3

Now that there is more Multimarkdown support I was wondering if there is a way to render math in Preview mode…besides some HTML tags.

Mathjax can work in previews. The below is an old Drafts 4 example, it it can be migrated:

Thanks! That Action works perfectly. I added it to my Keyboard-Markdown group.
