Have 2 days left for trial to end, should i cancel and purchase through IOS if i want to share with family, since all have IOS?
If yes i would have pro on my mac?

You can tell which platform you purchased on by looking at your subscription in your account in the App Store app. If it ends with a [m], it’s Mac. If it ends with an [i], it’s iOS.
Yes, it would be easier to share your subscription with your family who have only iOS devices if the purchase was made on iOS. They would then be able to restore purchases.
As long as you are syncing data via iCloud to any Mac, your pro features will remain unlocked with the iOS purchase.

I cancelled mac trial but no option to upgrade in iOS, guess i will have to wait the 7 day period to finish. Hope nothing get lost.
Nothing is ever lost transitioning between free and pro version. Functionality disabled, but never any data effected.
