Hey there,

I’d like to extend on the built-in GitHub Markdown syntax theme to include language support within code blocks, similar to their Markdown guide.

I’ve come across a repository, regex-highlighter, with a somewhat similar regex rules set for syntax highlighting that would be a useful reference.

Would syntax definitions support conditional highlighting within blocks?

That sort of nested syntax evaluation is not supported by Drafts syntax definitions at this time.
