Export to Wordpress as Markdown

Hi, I’m new to Drafts and I wanted to know if there is a way to convert the draft to Markdown before it goes to Wordpress.

I’m asking this because I made a very simple action to add a line and a signature after a Draft to use on my blog using “—-“ to make a new line. But when I use the share action and send it to Wordpress I get the text without Markdown.

What am I missing?

Markdown is just plain text, is it HTML you are after? The text with <xxx>Some text</xxx> sorts of tags around it
