If you create a new draft via Import File, it would be fun to be able to Export it back to whence it came.
(Mainly because I’m taking advantage of block arrange on longer external text files.)

I’m looking forward for something like this, but my idea is to do it with an action I would like to do once I got time to learn some JavaScript.
My idea of that action is a prompt between fork/update. If fork, you can chose the file to import, and the action keeps the URL in the first line; if update reads the first line and updates that file.
