I use Drafts 4 to keep attendance for my tennis academy for the past 5 years. I went to input attendance and the app won’t open. I did update to IOS 26.2 yesterday. Can you please help me get my app back open or data back? I’ll pay if needed. Just really need access. Thank you.
Not sure what Apple broke in the 26.2, but I can reproduce here and it looks like they broke Drafts 4. I will have to research and report this to Apple, and hopefully they will fix in an OS update.
Drafts 4 was discontinued in 2018 and is no longer supported. I will not be issuing any updates (in fact, it’s not possible to do so in the App Store for a discontinued app)…so, it will be important to report this to Apple.
That said, if you have Drafts 4 installed on the device, and it has all your synced data, you should be able to use the migration tools in the current version of Drafts to import your Drafts 4 data. See the migration guide for details. The migration process accesses your Drafts 4 data in the background, so should not require the app to launch to work.
