Drafts v49.0.2 won't launch on macOS 12.7.6

Hi Drafts community,

From an old MBP with MacOS Monterey 12.7.6, the newest Drafts version (49.0.2) crashed directly and does not allow access to the main page, after few seconds the process is automatically terminated.

I restore the Drafts version in 49.0.1 and that’s working fine and stable.

This was a problem caused by a bug in the way the new OS 26 SDK tools build for macOS 12 or older. I’ve found a workaround and uploaded a fix. It should be out once it gets through App Review in the next few days.

This fix is in v49.0.3 and has been approved. It should be showing up in App Store update in the next hour or so (as of 2025-12-26, 6pm EST)
