Creating continuous markdown bullets via dictation

I dictate to Drafts a lot. And I use markdown a lot. Combining the two is a challenge though.

I can say “plus sign yadda yadda yadda” to create a markdown bullet item, but I can’t create an automatically bulleted next item. “New line” doesn’t do it.

Is there a syntax available to get a bullet to repeat? For that matter, is there a better syntax (other than saying “plus sign”) to dictate a markdown bulleted list?

Drafts doesn’t use it’s own dictation engine, it’s relying on system dictation, so it’s not going to understand or anticipate markdown syntax, unfortunately.
