Create to-do or checklist from selected text

Is there an action that can turn selected text into a to-do or checklist? If there’s not, can it be created?

Everyday, I use a draft called working memory. It’s one big text file where I capture to-dos, notes, thoughts, and ideas. I’d like to be able to select lines of text and prefix them with a to-do or checklist.

Shortly after posting I read about the Make Tasks action in the getting started guide. This was exactly what I was looking for. I was searching the directory for insert task, convert to task, etc.
