Checkbox in drafts for Mac

Hi all, does the desktop version have checkboxes options? I don’t see an option to turn the format into Markdown. Not sure if that’s been implemented yet.

At the foot of the editor there’s a pop-up for syntax. And yes the desktop version does do checkboxes.
