Change default input method on watch?

I primarily create notes on my watch using FlickType. When I open Drafts, I have to tap the green button to see more input options and then select FlickType each time.

Is it possible to change the default input method so FlickType will load automatically when I create a new note?

It is not. Newer Watch models that support Apple’s own on-screen keyboard default to keyboard input.

It is the OS that is defaulting it and the app cannot override the initial default. It’s a constraint applied by the OS on the app.

Is there some reason you prefer FlickType? You can have the behavior you want system-wide (in any app) on the Watch with the Apple keyboard.

(And no, not possible to do with FlickType)

Yea, sorry. I was thinking the Series 6 supported the keyboard.
