In Drafts for Mac, is there a setting for the background color for selected text? If so, can someone please point me to it.
I did find the editor preference item “Highlight insertion point” which helps somewhat, but not completely. Somehow, in one of my recent update installs, the background color changed to a very pale blue which is hard to distinguish from the normal light (white) background. In dark mode, the selected text is in a dark brown color on a black background which is only slightly better.
Four years later, I have the same question. Especially on Quick Capture. I have my laptop on dark mode for visual issues, and the selection on there is impossible to see—a real issue when I use it for copying/pasting so much.
Drafts themes can include a setting for textSelection that specifies the highlight colour…
Find your preferred theme in the directory, view its page, and select to “Open in Theme Builder”.
In Configuration > Colors: Interface > textSelection, set your preferred colour.
Install the theme and ensure you select it as your active theme.
I’m not at my Mac right now to check, but I don’t know off the top of my head if this extends to the quick capture window. But you should be able to confirm if it does quickly enough for yourself by switching themes.
