Append to Craft Note with date - breaks the Markdown import of the first line of a note

Hello,

Using @FlohGro (you’re a champ!) action to Append/Prepend to Craft Note with date overall works great, but the date insertion breaks the Markdown import of the first line of the note. Screen attached.

I’d like to add a line break after the date to prevent this from happening, but I don’t know anything about scripting drafts (yet).

Could you guys help me out with this one?
Maybe I’ve did something wrong?

I created modified versions for your request (released as unlisted so use the links below to install them) since the names are ugly but you can rename them just how you like :slight_smile:

append: Drafts Directory: Append to Craft Note with date with new line after date

prepend: Drafts Directory: Prepend to Craft Note with date with new line after date

Last question and I’m done: what should I remove from the script to remove the colon after date? :sweat_smile:

No worries :wink:

I updated the actions so just reinstall them from the directory.

In the append action it’s line 58 in the script and in the prepend action it’s line 59 where the content is specified
