Any way to collapse/hide the preview lines of text in the List on the left?

I would like to be able to show only the FIRST line of text (aka title) on the left navbar (Drafts List). For privacy reasons, I do not want the “preview” where it shows 2 lines of the note body.

Is there any way to hide this?

Drafts v45.0 (Pro) - macOS 14.6.1

Thanks

you can disable the “show preview” setting in the list options of the workspace.

It’s documented here List Options | Drafts User Guide but not up to date with the latest release (FYI @agiletortoise)

Ah, ok I didn’t even know about that feature. Thanks.

One bug :bug: I think I may have found: When making changes to the current workspace (if it’s just the “Default” one) the changes don’t take effect until I create a new workspace, switch to it, and then switch back to Default.

So to “fix” this, I had to create a new dummy Workspace, switch to it, and then go back to the settings, turn Preview off, and then I was able to clear the filters, and delete the dummy workspace.

That doesn’t sound like a “bug”, per se. If you make changes directly in list options, they take effect immediately but are not necessarily saved as part of the default workspace unless you explicitly select “Save as Default.”

If you make changes in the workspace manager, to the default or other workspaces, they are saved as part of that workspace, but would not take affect until that workspace is next applied to the list. Which, in the case of the default workspace, would be when you press the (x) above the list.

Ah ok, your message prompted me to poke around a bit more in the UI (lots of buttons!)

I didn’t know that this menu/option even existed. So this right here is what I was looking for…

Thanks @agiletortoise
