I am about to make some changes to a bunch of drafts that I may want to revert. I made a backup and was testing the process for restoring the backup. However, the import process makes me think maybe the import copies the backup into the app rather than replacing the drafts with those from the backup. Can anyone tell me what happens? If the backup is copied into the app, how can I delete all the existing drafts before importing the backup?
Restoring a backup will import the content as new drafts…it will NOT replace existing content. If you want to reset an installation and start over from backup content, there are a few steps involved. Contact us at support@agiletortoise.com and we’ll give you the details.
Note that you can also do exports using Select > Operations in the draft list if you want to just snapshot some set of drafts.
