“Toggle Link mode” shortcut cmd-L shadows “Find in Draft List” shortcut

I am referring to my problem from "Toggle Link mode" is executed with the shortcut key "Find in Draft List" is meant to have - Drafts Community. No sure whether it is better to raise a new topic or not… Here the details:

When I press cmd-L in Drafts “Toggle Link mode” is executed. However the “Edit” menu says this shortcut is assigned to the “Find in Draft List” menu item.

Also:

  • When I issue cmd-L I do not get the green success banner of an action. So it is just toggling link mode on and off.

  • I don’t think I have assigned a shortcut to the Link mode toggle in the “Editor” menu through System Settings. Here my “Editor” menu:

Any idea what could go on here?

I think you must have some other configuration setup to do that. Do you use third-party utilities - like Keyboard Maestro, Alfred, Better Touch Tool, etc. - that allow you do set up global hot keys? Have you tried reproducing with those not running?

The only way to configure a shortcut like that inside Drafts is by assigning it to an action.

Yes, I do – and Keyboard Maestro was the culprit. Loooong time ago I had set cmd-L to trigger Link Mode…
