For some reason the default light theme isn’t applied correctly anymore. This happens on iOS as well as MacOS. The heading color changes correctly but the font is not set to bold. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Latest public versions of Drafts on latest public OSes I assume.
You note the default light theme, but are you using a different syntax now maybe? One which isn’t Markdown and so would not have Markdown heading specifications in it that you inadvertently switched to.
You might notice if it only affected “new” drafts if that were the case.

I was using an org-mode syntax for a while but I reverted back to markdown and made it the default again. I checked that the drafts in question use the basic markdown syntax. I reinstalled the standard light theme and it still does not work.
Not that I’m aware of. Is there any way to just reset all settings to the defaults?
Are you possibly using a font that does not have a bold variant installed correctly? Try the system font for comparison.
