I was looking for an action that sends the draft directly to Paste.app (Paste - Clipboard Manager on the App Store) but didn’t find any. Did I miss it or doesn’t it exist yet?

I’m not familiar, but it looks like a clipboard manager. Would not just using a “Copy” action to put draft contents in the clipboard also make it available in Paste.app?

Yes, it is a clipboard manager.
No, according to the experts, i.e. MacSparky, this is not possible in iOS. You always have an extra step to get it into the clipboard manager. Would be very nice to have the possibility to send it directly to the clipboard manager.
There was an Drafts action for the clipboard manager “copied” but this app is not being kept up-to-date anymore. 
For that use case, you could utilise Shortcuts.
