Passing markdown formatted text into Drafts URL?

I’m using Alfred’s workflow, until we get Actions on the Mac, to set up a daily scratch note, which overall works great. However part of the text I want to pass in I’d like to make the title. My current text string is:

Daily Scratch - {date}

where Alfred substitutes in today’s date and the draft gets created. If I now change my text string to:

‘#’ Daily Scratch - {date} (without the quotes around the hashtag)

No new draft is created, so I assume the # is throwing things off. How do I pass in the # value in my text string?

Ok, I figured it out, but in case anyone else has the same issue, you need to encode the hashtag so use %23 in the string.
