Drafts 33 Public Beta - Get Early Access to iOS 16 Features

We have a stable update for Drafts ready for all the latest iOS, iPadOS, and macOS updates. Apple, however, does not have all those OSes ready to release, which leaves us in a bit of a quandary.

Drafts v33 has non-OS related features and updates that are best experienced with all of your devices running the same version. We cannot release this update for all these platforms Drafts supports yet (App Store will not accept the macOS update) – so we have decided to hold off on releasing the update to the App Store. Instead, we are launching a “Public Beta” of Drafts v33 to fill in the gap between OS releases for users eager to try out the new features.

If you are happy waiting another month or two, no worries. Just stay on the App Store versions of Drafts, and v33 will be along soon.

If you are eager to get your hands on Lock Screen Widgets, Focus Filters, and other features on your iOS 16 updated iPhone, or if you are running beta versions of iPadOS or macOS, join the TestFlight(s) and get early access to these features. Note that these betas do not require you be running iOS 16, you can also get on the beta and enjoy the other non-OS related features.

The public beta builds are stable. These are not bleeding edge releases likely to break things. This public beta will remain open until v33 is released to both iOS and Mac App Stores when that becomes possible.
